DIGS member and Model High School graduate, Kayla Milliken loves to paint. She is an artist that will take every opportunity to paint, draw, or get her hands dirty in pastels to create art.
One of Kayla’s most painted and most requested pieces is the Rome Clock Tower. Recently she had the opportunity to donate two paintings to the 2015 TRED Benefit Art Show, Paint the Trails with Art, one of them being the clock tower.
TRED’s Mission is to enhance the community’s quality of life and economic development through an accessible, multi-use trail system that promotes alternative, eco-friendly recreation, and transportation opportunities. The benefit was held at The Rome-Floyd Eco-Center.
Kayla’s past creations of her work have included, artwork for the Rome-Floyd County Special Olympics, painted renderings of Biblical figures for churches, illustrations for greeting cards, and donations of her work to local fundraisers. For interest in Kayla’s work or commissions please contact us.
